Eric Tracy is a multi-talented reporter, talk show host, Webmaster, storyteller and master of ceremonies who has picked up his passion for golf and his megaphone and taken them on the road.

This year is Eric’s 7th year as a sports anchor for KFWB Headline News (980 AM) in Los Angeles where he is a valuable resource not only as an on-air personality, but as KFWB’s golf ambassador. Eric is the writer, producer and host of "KFWB’s Southern California Golf Tour," a series of radio reviews of Southern California golf courses. His reports are on the air and on the Internet on KFWB’s award winning website (www.kfwb.com). Eric’s reviews are also published monthly in LA Golf and OC GOLF Magazines.

Eric is also the creator of Charity Golf Online (www.charitygolfonline.com), a searchable database for information on Southern California charity golf tournaments, hosted by KFWB. Golfers seeking to play at one of Southern California’s prestigious private country clubs can find a charity golf tournament on Charity Golf Online that will enable them to experience golf courses they otherwise could only read about. Charities can get golfers for their tournaments by registering their golf tournaments on Charity Golf Online and can also pick up valuable tips for organizing a successful tournament.
If it’s Monday, you’ll find Eric in his signature brightly colored knickers with a putter in one hand and a bullhorn in the other, entertaining at one of the thousands of charity golf tournaments taking place in Southern California from March to December. Eric has turned his passion for golf and heart for charity into a frequent stint as a charity golf master of ceremonies and on-course entertainer. Eric takes on the persona of “The Mulligan Man” to play one hole with each of the 36 foursomes that form the typical charity tournament. If he makes a good shot, it counts. That’s the extra shot (i.e. “mulligan”)!

To many, the name Eric Tracy means not golf, but baseball. For 12 seasons beginning in 1983, Eric was a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers radio broadcast team as the creative force and host of Dodger Forecast, Dodger Confidential, Baseball Spotlight and Dodgertalk. Prior to joining KFWB, he was the morning sports anchor and an ensemble player on the Ken and Barkley Company, one of Southern California’s more popular morning drive radio programs on KABC Talkradio. In 1994/95 Eric co-hosted KABC’s Sportstalk with Steve Edwards. Nowadays, Eric brings the excitement of baseball to the charity golf community by throwing bags of peanuts to the banqueting golfers and auctioning off baseball paraphernalia to raise money for worthy causes.

Tracy is a long time Southern California resident. He is a devoted husband to Kathleen, loving father to one-year-old JoyAnne, master to faithful retired seeing eye dog Fiat, and an active “Big Brother” to 16-year-old Tyson, who is a skilled golfer on his high school golf team.
